There is news of unidentified people pelting stones on Mahabodhi Express in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, at the time of the incident, Mahabodhi Express was going from New Delhi to Bihar. As soon as the stone pelting happened, there was chaos in the train. It is being told that many passengers have also been injured in the stone pelting.
The stone pelting incident took place near the Yamuna bridge on Monday night and many stones were thrown targeting the bogie. According to the information, on the instructions of RPF, the train was stopped at Mirzapur station and the injured were treated and a case was registered against unknown people.
No one was injured, railways said
Regarding the entire incident, the railway said that, according to maintenance staff CT Ravikesh Yadav in Mahabodhi Express, when the said train was entering Mirzapur station at 19/21, someone threw a stone on the guard brake from the south side and no one was injured. Guard Mustaq Ahmed of train number 12397 Mahabodhi Express informed the control from mobile number 9794 84 1460 that the guard brake has been pelted with stones by an unknown person from the south direction, no one was injured.
