The heads of the four member countries India, America, Japan and Australia were present at the Quad summit held in Delaware, USA. Addressing the summit, PM Modi said that this conference is taking place at a time when there is tension and conflict all over the world.

It is important for the entire humanity that the Quad countries work together on the basis of collective democratic values. Modi said that we are not against anyone. We respect the rule-based international order, sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries and are in favor of peaceful resolution of all issues. An independent, free, inclusive and prosperous Indo-Pacific is our collective priority and commitment. The Quad countries have taken positive initiatives in areas such as health, security, modern technology, climate change and capacity building. In 2025, KWOD will be hosted in India.

The Quad summit was addressed by US President Biden. He supported the inclusion of students from the Indo Pacific as well as Southeast Asia in the Quad. Biden said, challenges will come. Australian Prime Minister Albanese expressed the same sentiment

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasised on working for sustained and lasting peace and stability and equality in the Indo-Pacific. He said that to deliver meaningful results, the Quad must address the challenges and opportunities of strategic areas such as climate change, health security, emerging technologies, cyber and counter-terrorism. It would be heartening if like-minded people work together in a model great democracy.

Japanese PM stressed on concrete action

Japanese PM Fumio Kishida expressed his happiness at meeting the leaders in Kavad. He emphasized on peace and freedom in the Indo-Pacific through the Quad and asked to move forward together with the Quad partners.
