Jaunpur, September 21 (HS). On Saturday, people of the Sikh community in Olandganj, under the leadership of BJP leader Sardar Jaswinder Singh, burnt the effigy of Rahul Gandhi and strongly condemned the statement made by the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi about the Sikh community during his US visit.

On this occasion, Sardar Jaswinder said that this statement of Rahul Gandhi is not only against the Sikh community but against all the minority communities. This statement of Rahul Gandhi is highly condemnable and is completely against the dignity of the post of the opposition. This does not befit a leader holding a post like the Leader of the Opposition. A leader like Rahul needs to read Sikh history before going out of the country and saying such things. The Sikh community has always made sacrifices for the national interest and religion and the sacrifice of the ninth Guru Shri Guru Teg Bahadur is unmatched in itself. Before making such a statement, did Rahul Gandhi forget 1984? His statement clearly smells of conspiracy by anti-national forces. Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the Sikh community as well as the entire country of India for this statement.

He said that Rahul Gandhi is defaming the country. He is completely disappointed with the continuous defeat. He raised the question that what is the need to raise internal issues on foreign soil. He said that why should we go abroad and expose our shortcomings? Such foolishness can be tolerated inside the country, but what is the point of exposing it so much outside. On the said occasion, Sardar Satwant Singh, Sardar Harcharan Singh, Sardar Mandeep Singh, Sardar Navneet Singh, Sardar Gurmeet Singh, Sardar Randeep Singh, Sardar Harbhajan, Sonu Singh, Divyashu Singh, Anshuman Singh, Goldie, Shashank Singh, Sardar Pino Singh, Meraj Haider etc. were present.
