Aadhar card: Aadhar card is a very important document in our country. Aadhar card is required to open a bank account for government or non-government work or scheme. Aadhar card contains demographic and biometric information of a person.
If you have a 10 year old Aadhaar card, then you will have to update it. Earlier the last date for free Aadhaar card update was 14 September 2024, which has now been extended to 14 December 2024. So if you have not updated your Aadhaar card yet, then know the process of updating Aadhaar card.
This way you can update your Aadhaar card
- First of all go to the official website of UIDAI uidai.gov.in/en.
- You will get many options here.
- You choose the option 'Update Aadhaar'.
- – After this enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- After this an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, enter it.
- log in now.
- After logging in, choose the option to update the document.
- Now update the scanned copy of Identity Card and Address Proof to verify the documents.
- Now click on the submit button.
- Your form will be submitted and you will get a request number.
- Through this request number, Aadhaar status can be checked whether your Aadhaar has been updated or not.
