In the case of the death of five people in the blast at a firecracker warehouse in village Naushera of police station Shikohabad area of the district, the police has announced a reward for the arrest of two absconding accused brothers. The SSP has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 each on both the absconding accused late on Friday night.
Five people were killed and around 9 people were injured in a blast in a firecracker warehouse located in village Naushera of Thana Shikohabad area on the night of 16 September. Houses around the warehouse also collapsed in this blast. Due to which a large number of villagers suffered. After this incident, the district administration and police arrested Bhura alias Navi Alam, who built an illegal firecracker warehouse, in an encounter on 17 September. While his two sons Taj and Raja absconded. The police team is continuously trying to arrest them.
Senior Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit late Friday night announced a reward of Rs. 10,000 each on the two absconding accused Taj and Raja sons of Bhura alias Navi Abdullah and directed the police teams to arrest them soon.
