BSNL 4G Service: There is good news for lakhs of users waiting for BSNL 4G roll out. Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has told about the 4G service of the government telecom company and its future plans. The government has completed preparations to roll out BSNL 4G network across the country. The company is currently upgrading the network across the country. Soon users can get better service quality like private companies. The government has recently released a fund of Rs 6000 crore to upgrade the network. Also, 1 lakh mobile towers are being installed.

Preparations to start 4G service

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has shared a video post from his official handle, in which he has talked about the preparations to upgrade the telecom company's service. The Union Minister was talking about BSNL's future plans during a discussion held at the Public Affairs Forum. He said that at present there are 4 main telecom players in India – Jio, Airtel, VI and BSNL.

Good news for users

Regarding BSNL 4G roll out, the Union Minister said that the main target of the government at this time is to install 1 lakh 4G towers across the country by June next year, so that the telecom company's 8 percent market share can be increased. He also said that not everyone in India needs 4G, given the number of 2G and 3G users, but the need to change to 4G is increasing, as 4G coverage is already spread in about 98 percent of India's districts. By June next year, users across the country will start getting full service of BSNL 4G. Currently, the work of network upgrade is going on.

Jyotiraditya Scindia further said that after the launch of 4G network, our focus will be on attracting customers. After the price hike by private telecom companies, a large number of users have moved to BSNL. The main challenge for us is to retain those users in the network. For this, like private companies, BSNL also needs a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) model, so that the problems of the customers can be heard and resolved in real time.
