New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express: Indian Railways today (September 18) started the commercial service of the first 20 coach Vande Bharat Express train from Varanasi Junction. This semi-high-speed train runs between Varanasi and New Delhi Railway Station of the capital Delhi. Let us tell you that this week PM Narendra Modi has flagged off new Vande Bharat trains for several routes simultaneously across the country.
Now more passengers will be able to travel in the 20 coach Vande Bharat Express built in Chennai's Integral Coach Factory. Earlier, 16 coach and 8 coach Vande Bharat trains were running between Delhi-Varanasi. Certainly, running a 20 coach train will reduce the waiting list. 1440 passengers will be able to travel in the new train at a time.
Two new Vande Bharat Express trains with 20 coaches have been introduced on the New Delhi-Varanasi route. These new trains will replace the old trains and will be operated and maintained by the Northern Railway zone.
The Vande Bharat Express train service running between New Delhi-Varanasi includes train numbers 22436/22435 and 22415/22416. This train will cover the distance of 771 km in about 8 hours and will be the fastest train running on this route.
Timetable and timings of the 20 coach New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express train
Train No. 22415 (Varanasi to New Delhi) will depart from New Delhi at 6 am and reach Varanasi at 2:05 pm.
Train No. 22435 (Varanasi to New Delhi) will depart from Varanasi at 3 pm and reach New Delhi Railway Station at 11 pm.

During the journey, the train will stop at Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central station en route. This new service is expected to improve the travel experience for passengers traveling between Varanasi and the national capital.
