Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is residential. These are administered by the Ministry of Education. Under this, entrance examination is conducted for admission to classes 6th and 9th. The name of this examination is Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). Application forms for this examination are issued every year. After filling these application forms properly the candidates have to appear in the entrance examination.
NVS Class 6th, 9th Age Limit: Eligibility and Age Limit for 6th, 9th Class
Candidates applying for admission in Class VI and IX will have to study in Class V and VIII in a Government/Government-aided school for the entire academic session. The age of a student taking admission in class 6 should be between 9 to 13 years. Along with this, the age of the students taking admission in class ninth should be between 13-15 years.
NVS Class 6th Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern for 6th Class
NVS conducts a two-hour exam for class 6. In this entrance examination, questions related to mental ability, mathematics test and language test are asked. The total score of the exam is 100 marks. All questions are of multiple choice type. This exam is based on Class V syllabus.
