Despite this, the previous governments ignored the Vishwakarmas who played an important role in the development of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid special attention to this and work is being done to take the people of this community forward by bringing PM Vishwakarma Yojana. These things were said by Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Brijesh Pathak who reached Kanpur on Friday.
In a ceremony organized on the first anniversary of PM Vishwakarma Yojana at NSTI Govind Nagar, Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak provided certificates and documents related to a loan of one lakh rupees at a cheap interest rate to the beneficiary Vishwakarmas. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the utility of PM Vishwakarma Yojana is increasing day by day. Under this scheme, work is being done to develop the skills of traditional craftsmen proficient in their respective fields by providing them high-tech training free of cost and giving high-level free tool kits. Due to which skill development is playing an important role in the country's economy.
Earlier, on the first anniversary of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the ceremony organized in Wardha, Maharashtra in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Jayant Chaudhary was watched live by Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, special and very special guests present, Vishwakarmas present and officers and employees of the institute in the AV hall of the institute by installing a screen. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was honored by PM Vishwakarma Yojana In-charge and Deputy Director General Anil Kumar by presenting a bouquet and a memento. MLA Govind Nagar Surendra Maithani and MLA Kalyanpur Neelima Katiyar were honored by the Institute's Office Head M. Kumarvel and Deputy Director Murari Lal Rastogi. In the ceremony, certificates were distributed to a total of 33 beneficiary Vishwakarmas and documents related to a loan of one lakh rupees at a cheap interest rate were also provided to 03 Vishwakarmas Suraj Kumar, Shiv Kumar and Ashish Kumar. During this, PM Vishwakarma Yojana's brand ambassadors Sunil Narang, Awadhesh Sonkar and Sunil Bajaj along with the institute's officers and employees etc. were present.
