UP Employment Fair: 6000 smartphones and tablets were distributed to the youth under the Rozgar Mela program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Ghaziabad, UP. Appointment letters were also given to 1000 unemployed youth who had already registered.
A smartphone was given to a handicapped student in the program but as soon as the student came out with it, a person allegedly snatched the smartphone. In this case, Ghantaghar Kotwali police has registered an FIR against an unknown person on the complaint of the student.
Regarding this incident, a police officer said that Manoj, who did LLB from MMH College, was given a smartphone in the Chief Minister's program on Wednesday. But, after the employment fair organized at Ghantaghar Ramlila Maidan, some unknown person snatched Manoj's mobile phone. Manoj got a mobile phone after his name appeared in the list of beneficiaries.
The police is investigating the matter
Manoj is a resident of Afzalpur Pavti village of the district. Manoj said, I shouted when my mobile was stolen, but due to the loudspeaker no one could hear my voice. When Additional Police Commissioner Ritesh Tripathi was contacted in this regard, he said that the police is investigating the matter. However, it has not been ascertained who stole the smartphone.
