Sensex Nifty 50 All Time High: Sensex and Nifty again managed to reach record highs today due to the rise in global stock markets. Sensex crossed the 84000 level for the first time and touched the highest level of 84213.21. Nifty also reached an all-time high of 25697.45, close to 25700.
At 11.15 am, Nifty was trading 275.60 points up at 25691.40, Sensex was up 999.74 points. Out of the 30 stocks in the Sensex pack, TCS is the only stock that is trading down by 0.33 percent. Apart from this, all the 28 stocks are trading up by up to 4 percent.
Investors' capital increased by Rs 4.4 lakh crore
Amid the global rally in the stock market, investor wealth has increased by Rs. 4.4 lakh crore. Out of 3867 stocks traded on BSE, 2434 stocks advanced and 1281 stocks declined. 203 stocks hit year's highest level and 33 stocks hit year's lowest level. 243 stocks hit upper circuit and 207 stocks hit lower circuit.
Smallcap stocks surged today
Sectoral indices have created an environment of universal acceptance. Smallcaps are trading with a gain of more than 1.07 percent. Apart from this, Power, Realty, Largecap, Auto, Capital Goods, Metal, PSU, FMCG indices are trading up by 1 to 3 percent.
