New Delhi: Ather Energy has started deliveries of its flagship electric scooter 450 Apex in the Indian market. The Ather 450 Apex is probably the last scooter based on the 450 platform. Features of Ather 450 Apex
The Ather 450 Apex has also received some performance changes along with a new color scheme. The Apex gets a new blue and orange color scheme, which is unique to this scooter. Apart from this, the brand has also introduced a transparent panel in this e-scooter. Talking about performance, its maximum speed has now increased from 90 kmph to 100 kmph. The 0-40 kmph acceleration time has been reduced from 3.3 seconds to 2.9 seconds.

The PMS electric motor now produces 7 kW (9.3 bhp) compared to 6.4 kW (8.5 bhp) of the Ather 450X. However, the peak torque output of 26 Nm remains the same. Ather has replaced the Warp mode with the new Warp+ riding mode. The biggest change in the electric scooter is the new Magic Twist feature. This brings negative throttle to the 450 peak for regenerative braking.

Ather Energy is also working on a new family scooter, which will be named Rizta. At present, not much information has been revealed about the scooter. But the teaser shows that the Ritz will offer the biggest seat with plenty of space on the floorboard. The teaser image also shows a touchscreen instrument cluster, so the scooter can be expected to run on EtherStack and also have Google Maps and Bluetooth connectivity.
