All flights to Middle East cancelled: Many airlines took the decision amid Israel-Lebanon tension | News India

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing tension in the Middle East, keeping in mind the safety of passengers, many major airlines including Air India have suspended their flights to the region. Many major airlines have stopped or temporarily suspended their services due to concerns about the safety of passengers, crew and aircraft. In such a situation, passengers planning to travel to the Middle East may have to change their plans.

Several airlines, including Air India, Air France-KLM, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific and Delta Airlines, have suspended services to Tel Aviv, Beirut and other destinations due to security concerns.

These airlines stopped services

Air India: Indian airlines have cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until further notice.

Air Algeria: Algerian Airlines has cancelled its flights to Lebanon until further notice.

Air France-KLM: Air France has cancelled services to Beirut and Tel Aviv until September 19. However, services are not running smoothly even today. KLM suspended all flights to Tel Aviv until October 26 and services to Beirut and other destinations until March 31, 2025.

Cathay Pacific: The Hong Kong-based airline has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until March 2025.

Delta Airlines: The US carrier has suspended flights between New York and Tel Aviv until December 31, 2024.

Lufthansa Group: The German airline has suspended all services to Tel Aviv and Tehran until September 19, while services to Beirut are suspended until September 30.

Flights have been suspended due to tensions in the Middle East. Now passengers may have to change their travel plans. In such a situation, passengers are advised to keep in touch with their airlines for updates. Only then should they prepare for the journey.
