Mumbai: National Cinema Day was started in the year 2022 to attract people to cinemas after the Corona period. Now its third edition will be held on 20 September. The Multiplex Association of India has decided to celebrate September 20 as National Cinema Day this year.

The National Multiplex Trade Body has said that tickets will be made available to cinema lovers in theatres across the country for just Rs 99. Films will be shown on more than 4,000 screens including PVR Inox, Cinepolis, Mirage, Movie Time and Delight.

These films include new releases 'Yudhra', 'Kahaan Shoor, Kahaan Akhbeen', Marathi film 'Navra Mazha Navsacha 2', Punjabi film 'Sucha Surma' along with Hollywood films 'Never Let Go' and 'Transformers One Last'. 'Buckingham Murders', which will release this week, will also feature Punjabi film 'Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di'.

Along with this, the re-released films 'Tumbad' and 'Veer Zara' along with 'Isri 2', which is performing well at the box office, will also be a part of the National Film Day. This day is being celebrated for the last two years to bring cinematic pleasure to audiences of all ages. The association said in its statement that thanks to all the film lovers who contributed to this success. Those who have not yet returned to local cinemas are being invited once again. Let us tell you that in the last two editions of National Cinema Day, about 60 lakh people watched films.
