Indian Railways: Only one and a half months are left for Diwali. During the festival, people return home to spend time with their families. Therefore, people often book tickets one and a half months before the festival. But many times, due to job or studies, ticket booking gets delayed and later it becomes difficult to book tickets on the spot. Especially, it can be difficult to get tickets on busy routes of UP and Bihar. In such a situation, here are three easy tips, with the help of which you can book confirmed tickets easily and quickly:
Download IRCTC App
First of all download the IRCTC app and log in. Save all your information like route information and train number in advance. This will save you from having to search for train information again and again and ticket booking will also be done quickly.
Create a master list
Before travelling with your family or friends, prepare their master list. Include the names of all the passengers, berths and food preferences in it. You can create your master list by going to the My Profile section of IRCTC. This will save time while booking tickets and you will not have to fill in the information again and again.
Use e-wallet
Use UPI wallet or internet banking while paying for ticket booking. Paying through UPI wallet is faster and easier as it takes less time. Internet banking may take more time to enter login, password and OTP. You can also add money to IRCTC's e-wallet, which will save you time for net banking.
