Moradabad, 18 September (HS). On Bhadra month Purnima, the National Priest Council organized the Mahaarati of Ram Ganga Maiyya and collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation at the ancient Ganga temple Atal Ghat on Wednesday evening. Founder Shyam Krishna Rastogi said that the National Priest Council will organize the Mahaarati of Ram Ganga Maiyya and collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation on every Purnima. Faith and devotion towards Ram Ganga should remain awakened, and Ram Ganga Maiyya should be made pollution free.
He further said that our aim is to make the rivers pollution free by instilling faith in people and to make the rivers of India clean and pure with the cooperation of the government administration. He demanded that the government should immediately take action to close the dirty drains flowing into the Ramganga river. Entry of animals and bathing in Ramganga should be banned. Pandit Vinod Sharma, Pujari Mahendra, Acharya Kameshwar Mishra, Pandit Tej Narayan Mishra, Acharya Vineet Sharma, Shyam Shukla, Nitin Dubey, Rakesh Atri, Bablu Bhatnagar, Ajju Bhatnagar, Satish Agarwal, Anil Rastogi, Shiv Shankar Bansal, Satish Chandra Sharma, Vandana Sharma, Suman Ruhela, Geeta Pandey and many other Ram Ganga lovers were present in the program.
