Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday like in many parts of the country. The Friday after Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is especially important in Jammu and Kashmir. A holiday has been declared in the entire state on this day. Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. Which falls on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. This day holds religious and cultural significance for the Muslim community. Special Jumme ki Namaz is offered on the first Friday after Eid-e-Milad, which has been given a high place in Islamic customs. On this occasion, a large number of people gather in mosques.
