Mirzapur, 17 September (HS). BJP workers celebrated the 74th birthday of the world's most popular leader and the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Seva Pakhwada on Tuesday. Under the leadership of BJP District President Brij Bhushan Singh, Prime Minister Modi's birthday was celebrated by running cleanliness campaigns at all Shakti Kendras of every Mandal of the district and by distributing fruits in hospitals and by donating blood on behalf of Yuva Morcha.
Chief guest, regional president of Kashi region, Dilip Patel, first of all launched the cleanliness campaign at Pt. Deendayal square along with workers and officials by sweeping on the principle of 'Cleanliness is service'. Also, while performing Aarti Pooja at Hanumanji temple at Sankatmochan trisection, prayed for the long life of Prime Minister Modi and donated to the poor. Sweets were also distributed. The chief guest distributed fruits to the patients at the women's district hospital. Thereafter, a blood donation camp was organized in the divisional hospital under the leadership of BJYM district president Siddharth Mishra Monty. 74 youths registered in this and dozens donated blood.
In the same sequence, MLAs, public representatives and workers ran a cleanliness campaign in their assembly as part of the Seva Pakhwada and wished the Prime Minister a long life on his birthday. The coordinator of the Seva Pakhwada was District General Secretary Dinesh Verma and the coordinator of the Swachhata Abhiyan program was District Minister Kaushal Srivastava. Hundreds of workers including former District President Lal Bahadur Singh, Manoj Jaiswal, District Minister Hemant Tripathi, Gaurav Umar, District Media Incharge Gyan Prakash Dubey were present in the Swachhata Abhiyan.
