Review meeting regarding cleanliness campaign | News India

Katihar, September 17 (HS). As per the instructions of the Bihar Government Cabinet Secretariat Department (Chief Secretary's Cell), a review meeting has been scheduled every Tuesday by the Chief Secretary, Bihar with the Divisional Commissioner / District Officers through video conference for the coordination of all departmental works.

In the light of this scheduled meeting, a detailed and elaborate review related to various departments, Building Construction Department, Industries Department, Energy Department, Information Technology Department, PHED Department, Rural Works Department, Road Construction Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Tourism Department, Planning and Development Department was done on Tuesday through video conference with Divisional Commissioner/District Officials under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Bihar, for the coordination of departmental works.

Katihar District Officer Manish Kumar Meena and officers of the concerned departments joined the review meeting and necessary instructions were received.

In the said meeting, after reviewing on the basis of updated reports of the concerned departments, necessary guidelines have been given, which include construction of Katihar-Balrampur State Highway, smart meter, Panchayat Government Building, providing electricity to farmers at the rate of 60 paise per unit, fencing of graveyards, crop harvesting report, ensuring availability of pure drinking water etc. Apart from this, under the Swachhata Hi Seva Program 2024, which is scheduled from 14 September to 02 October, geo-tagging of black spots and behavior change to create awareness among people about cleanliness were also reviewed, along with this, orders were given to execute the work by establishing coordination with each other to bridge the gap of the concerned departments.

Along with the District Officer, Additional Collector, Municipal Commissioner, District Planning Officer, District Panchayati Raj Officer and officers of other related departments were present in the said meeting.
