Six arrested from both sides for creating communal tension | News India

In the case of the communal clash that took place a few days ago in Gadiya Tola of Siswa Western Panchayat of Banjaria police station area in the district, the police have identified and arrested six people from both the sides. On 15 September, when Hindu men and women devotees were going from Shanichara place to Gadiya Tola for Jalbojhi from the Bagmati river with DJ music, the Muslim people objected to the sound and stopped the sound and pushed the devotees.

After the return of the Kanwariyas after Jalbhojhi and Jalabhishek, a large crowd of both the communities gathered near Gadiya Tola Mosque on Monday morning. Both the communities abused each other and raised religious slogans. However, the Banjaria police station resolved the matter with the help of local intellectuals of both the communities. In this case, a case was registered on the application of both the communities. Also, in this case, on the statement of the police station in-charge Banjaria, a case was registered under BNS and Loud Speaker Act and raids were conducted against both the parties and a total of 06 people were arrested. These include Arman Alam, Jeet Kumar, Tunni Kumar, Javed Alam, Mohd. Turfain Ansari, Bhim Kumar, all from Banjaria police station, East Champaran district.

Besides ASP Shikhar Chaudhary, the raiding team included Banjaria police station in-charge Indrajit Paswan, SI Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Kameshwar Singh, PSI Tribhuvan Kumar Chandra Pratap, ASI Ranveer Kumar and armed forces of Banjaria police station.
