Ayodhya, September 17 (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party is celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a cleanliness and service fortnight. On the birthday, cleanliness campaigns were carried out by party leaders at various places.
Minister in charge Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, former Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay, Metropolitan President Kamlesh Srivastava launched a cleanliness drive at Shringarhat and Ram ki Paidi. Former MP Lallu Singh launched a cleanliness drive at Guptar Ghat in Kariyappa Mandal. Hundreds of people were given party membership by launching a membership drive in Kariyappa Mandal of the Metropolitan, Milkipur Mandal of Milkipur Legislative Assembly and Kuchera Mandal.
Minister-in-charge Surya Pratap Shahi said that Narendra Modi, who was born in a poor family in a small village and became the Prime Minister of the world's largest democracy, has been honoured by 15 different nations by giving him their highest award, which has increased the pride of India and him. Swachhata and Seva Pakhwada is being celebrated on the birthday of the Prime Minister.
Former MP Lallu Singh said that the party is celebrating service and cleanliness fortnight on PM Modi's birthday. All-round, inclusive, all-encompassing development has been done during the tenure of the Prime Minister. The change has been felt by every citizen of India.
Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi said that PM Modi's entire life is dedicated to national interest. The Prime Minister has established the resolution of India First in every policy. Due to strong leadership and foresight, the country is rapidly moving towards developed India. Other party officials and workers launched cleanliness campaigns in their areas.
