Bijnor, 14 September (HS). On Saturday, the district and police administration sealed 12 shops of the Waqf Board near the Collectorate office and pasted a notice. Police force is also deployed outside the shops. This action has been taken as the map of these shops was not approved.
The administration has sealed 12 shops of Kachhari Wali Masjid located in the Collectorate office of Thana Shahar Kotwali. The administration says that all the shop owners were asked by the regulated area to show the map pass papers. The shops have been sealed as the shop owners could not show the passed map.
Shop owners say that all the shops belong to Kachhari wali masjid which is under the Waqf Board. These shops were built in the year 1986, at that time there was no provision for getting the map approved. All shopkeepers say that they will meet the officials with all the papers and will appeal to them to open the seal after informing them about the whole matter.
