Keeping the flood in mind, District Magistrate Dr. Indramani Tripathi and Superintendent of Police Abhijeet R Shankar reached the Sikrodi bridge of Yamuna river and observed the rising water level and inspected the places of water logging during floods in village Sikrodi and Gohani Kala and directed the concerned departmental officers to keep a constant watch.
He also inquired from village head Pappi Tiwari about the problems faced during floods and the arrangements made at the local level in relation to them. The District Magistrate said that if the water level rises too much and a flood situation arises, then do not go towards the water and inform everyone about it. Along with this, the officers and employees of the district administration will also be present and will provide every possible solution regarding flood relief and rescue. For this, all of you also need to be alert so that there is no loss of life or animal. All arrangements have been ensured by the district administration, so there is no need to panic. When the water level rises, go to high places so that water does not reach. He instructed the concerned to provide all the necessary arrangements as well as ensure the arrangement of electricity.
