Bangladesh reached Naftai: Mohammad Ali Jinnah's death anniversary celebrated for the first time in 50 years, demand to declare him father of the nation | News India

Bangladesh marks Jinnah's death anniversary: After the coup of Sheikh Hasina, it seems that Bangladesh has completely changed and the Ganges is flowing. From sending Hasina back to India to the indecent order on the Durga Puja issue, Bangladesh has now resorted to Naftai. Another neighboring country of India is moving in the opposite direction.

The situation in the country has changed after the removal of Sheikh Hasina's government from power on 5 August. An interim government is running in the country under the leadership of Mohammad Yunus and opinions are being expressed against Mujibar Rahman, who led the fight to liberate Bangladesh. During the violent protests, the statues of Mujibar Rahman, popularly known as Bangabandhu, were also broken. Not only this, now the situation has worsened so much that in Dhaka, there is a demand to declare Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the so-called creator of Pakistan, as the father of the nation.

On Wednesday, a program was organized at the Dhaka Press Club on the 76th death anniversary of Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Meanwhile, Jinnah was recalled and there was a demand to make Mujibar Rahman the father of the nation in his place. The shocking thing is that India gave freedom to Bangladesh and helped establish Bangladesh as an independent country by separating East Pakistan from Pakistan and now there is a demand to declare Jinnah, who has become India's arch enemy, as the father of the nation.

Bangladesh came into existence after the 1971 Liberation War. The movement began mainly after a dispute over the Bengali and Urdu languages and a part of East Pakistan became a separate country as Bangladesh. The Awami League party is linked to that legacy, but after Sheikh Hasina left the country, it is now dominated by pro-Pakistan elements.

Organizations like Jamaat-e-Islami, which fought against the people of Bangladesh along with the Pakistani army, now seem to be getting stronger. On Wednesday, an event was organized at the National Press Club in Dhaka, in which Urdu poems were recited and many people also gave speeches. Meanwhile, there was also a demand to change the flag and national anthem of Bangladesh. Such demands are also increasing on Bangladesh's social media.

Bangladesh became independent twice:

In the program organized at the Press Club, many speakers also said that Bangladesh has been liberated twice. Bangladesh got independence once on 14 August 1947 and the second time on 5 August 2024. The important thing in this comment is that there is no mention of the actual creation of Bangladesh in 1971. In this way, the speakers termed the talk of separation from Pakistan as wrong. Along with this, there has also been a demand to declare Jinnah as the father of the nation.
