Bijnor, September 12 (HS) | Chandpur police has sealed a hotel located near Karal Gate after 25 kg beef was found in the hotel. Two persons have also been arrested.
According to the information received from police sources, after getting information from an informer, 25 kg of beef was recovered during a raid at Salar Hotel. Shafiq (hotel operator), son of Kafiluddin and Tajim, son of Jalaluddin, residents of village Masit, police station Himpur Deepa, were arrested from the spot. SP Rural Ram Arj said that after examining the recovered meat, it was confirmed that it was of cow. After that, the hotel was also sealed. It is worth noting that the matter of beef being made in hotels in Chandpur has been in discussion earlier as well. Not only this, it is also being said that beef is being sold in the rural areas and small towns of the district.
