Thousands of workers protested at Kenya's main international airport against an agreement between the Kenyan government and India's Adani Group. This led to the cancellation of several flights and thousands of passengers were stranded at the airport. The Kenya Airport Workers Union announced the strike, alleging that the agreement would deprive people of their jobs and impose very poor terms and conditions of employment on those who remain.
