Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur missing: A pro-Imran leader has been criticized for giving a speech against the army in Pakistan. Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, has gone missing. Apart from this, many leaders of Imran Khan's party 'Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf' (PTI) have been arrested. Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is currently in jail. His party held a big rally on Sunday demanding Imran's release. In this rally, Gandapur spoke in a threatening tone to release Imran Khan. But since then he is missing. The army is directly accused of keeping Imran Khan in jail. In such a situation, it is believed that Ali Amin's threat to forcibly release Imran of Gandapur was a direct challenge to the army.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Counsel Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif claimed that Gandapur has gone missing and could not be contacted for several hours. Barrister Saif revealed in a statement on Monday night that all efforts to contact CM Gandapur have failed. His phone was switched off. Saif said that Chief Minister Ali Amin is not in Peshawar, Gandapur is in Islamabad. But we have no information about where he is. Apart from this, the police is also arresting other PTI leaders including PTI President Gauhar Ali Khan and MP Sher Afzal Marwat.
Gandapur gave a fiery speech
Ali Amin Gandapur had given an inflammatory statement in which he talked about forcibly taking Imran out of jail. He said, 'Listen Pakistanis, if Imran Khan is not released within two weeks according to the law, then I swear to God we will release him ourselves.' He told the crowd, are you ready? I will lead you now. I will take the first bullet. Do not be stubborn after drinking alcohol. If we step back now, we will not get this chance again.' Last year, there were riots in Pakistan after Imran's arrest. In such a situation, this speech of Gandapur can spread violence. It is being claimed that Pakistan's intelligence agencies have arrested him.
Officials will go to High Court for Gandapur
According to reports, PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari said that the Chief Minister has been missing since 7:00 pm. Advocate General KPK is filing a petition in the High Court for him. Islamabad Police and intelligence agencies have kidnapped him. He had gone for an official meeting. This is the first time that a sitting CM has been treated like this. Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan has been in jail since last year. He has spent more than 400 days in jail. His supporters allege that he is being implicated in false cases. A big rally was organized in Islamabad for Imran's release. Other leaders have been arrested for rally-related permit violations.
