Vande Bharat: The proposed Vande Bharat from Banaras to Agra will have eight rakes. Only one rake will run from both sides. That is, the rake running from Agra Cantt will return from Varanasi. This will be the rake of Vande Bharat 2.0.

This rake, which gives an air travel like experience, is fitted with armor. It takes only 140 seconds to reach a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. In such a situation, from January 2025, this train will be able to run at a speed of 160 between Tundla and Prayagraj.

The Railway Board has also issued a letter of rack allocation. In which North Central Railway has been given Vande Bharat with eight racks. Apart from NCR, South East Railway, South West Railway and East Railway have also been allotted one rack of Vande Bharat with eight coaches each. South East Central Railway and Central Railway have got Vande Bharat with 16 coaches, while East Railway has got Vande Bharat with 20 racks.

Now after the rake arrives, its route trial and speed trial will begin. Till now all the three Vande Bharat trains passing through Prayagraj are blue in colour. In such a situation, there is a possibility that this rake will be saffron in colour.

North Central Railway CPRO Shashikant Tripathi said that high efficiency compressors with UV lamps have been used in the rake of this train running between Baba Vishwanath's city and Taj city for germ-free supply of air. Due to which the experience of heat ventilation and air conditioning will be very different.

Each coach has 32 passenger information and infotainment systems. Four platform side cameras and rear view cameras have been installed outside the coach. There is also a provision for loco pilot-guard communication with voice recording facility. This train will run six days a week except Fridays. Agra Cantt will do its primary maintenance.
