Ghaziabad, September 9 (HS). Ensuring public participation, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation is continuously promoting plantation. In which Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation had earlier also done plantation using Miyavki method, the plants have now taken the form of trees. In this sequence, about one lakh plants were started to be planted in 6 acres of vacant land of the corporation located at Siddharth Vihar. Which was inaugurated by Nazar Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik.
Garden in-charge Dr. Anuj told that with the help of Tata Steel Limited, plantation was done on a large scale using Miyawaki method on 6 acres of corporation land in Siddharth Vihar. Which was inaugurated by the Municipal Commissioner. About 100000 saplings will be planted, whose responsibility will be of Tata Steel Limited for 3 years. In this way, plantation work is going on continuously at many places using Miyawaki method. In Pratap Vihar Ward No. 15 also 10000 saplings were planted under Miyawaki method.
On this occasion, Ghaziabad Nagar Aayukt also made the city residents aware about plantation. All the employees of Tata Steel Limited present in the program were also motivated to plant as many trees as possible around them. Nagar Aayukt said that it is very important to plant trees today to make tomorrow better. This will help a lot in reducing pollution around the city and maintaining a good environment. City residents were made aware about plantation. Along with the corporation officials, Manish Mishra Chief Corporate Affairs, Mukesh Kumar Plant Head Sahibabad and other employees from Tata Steel Limited were also present in the program.
