Pratapgarh, 09 September (HS). On Monday, in Lalganj Kotwali area, an advocate going to court on a motorcycle was injured after being hit by a tractor on Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway. The tractor driver fled from the spot. The injured advocate was taken to the trauma center. As soon as the information of the advocate being injured reached the advocates in Lalganj tehsil, a large group of advocates reached the trauma center. The injured advocate died during treatment in the trauma center.
Advocate Manish Mishra Marut, a resident of Pure Ishwar Nath village of Nagar Kotwali area, went to his in-laws' house in Salon district Raebareli on Sunday. On Monday morning, the advocate was going to the court from his in-laws' house. Just four hundred meters from Lalganj Kotwali, a tractor hit the advocate's bike on the highway, due to which he fell. Passersby informed the police and took him to the trauma center, where he died during treatment. A crowd of lawyers reached the trauma center on the incident. The relatives of the deceased advocate reached the trauma center, where they wept bitterly after seeing the dead body of their son. The police sent the body for post-mortem and started investigating the case. The police have registered a case against the unknown tractor driver.
