Karachi, 08 September (HS). Major action has been taken against police personnel using social media in Karachi, Pakistan's largest city and economic capital. 12 more police officers who used social media during duty have been suspended.
According to ARY News report, Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi suspended 12 more officers including three women and nine men for violating protocol. It is noteworthy that a day before this, six officers were also suspended.
Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon has issued strict orders to the Additional Director General of Police, Karachi, Zonal DIGs and SSPs to take action against policemen who record and upload videos on TikTok while on duty.
