Roadways management asked for 200 new buses for the upcoming Kumbh Mela | News India


Moradabad, 06 September (HS). The Roadways Transport Corporation has completed its preparations for the upcoming Kumbh Mela. Under which the Roadways management has demanded 200 new buses from the headquarters. This time, along with ordinary buses, AC sleeper buses will also be operated from Moradabad region for Prayagraj. Moradabad Roadways regional manager Mamta Singh said on Friday that a proposal for new buses has been sent for the convenience of passengers.

Moradabad region roadways management has demanded 200 new buses for the Kumbh Mela. According to the transport corporation, a total of 35 AC buses will be available apart from AC sleeper. The AC class includes 29 two by two and two by shri six seater buses. While the rest 163 buses are ordinary buses. The roadways management has asked for 40 and 50 seater buses as per the requirement. Moradabad region includes Brass Nagri, Moradabad Depot, Bijnor, Sambhal, Najibabad, Amroha, Rampur and Dhampur depots. There are 793 buses in the entire Moradabad region. In which 546 are of the corporation and 245 are contracted buses.
