Bhagalpur, 6 September (HS). The people of eastern Bihar including Bhagalpur have received a big gift from the Centre on Friday. Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Health Minister Mangal Pandey inaugurated the Super Specialty Hospital in Bhagalpur today.
This hospital is built at a cost of 200 crores. While there is a facility of 200 beds here. The foundation of this hospital was laid by Prime Minister Modi in 2019. This hospital was completed two years ago. The inauguration date was postponed 9 times in a row, but today finally that day came and the hospital was inaugurated. The hospital will have the facility of 7 departments, out of which there will be facilities of urology, neurosurgery, nephrology, geriatrics, trauma ward, plastic surgery. Along with this, there are 40 high-efficiency beds. There are 8 operation theaters. There will be facilities for many tests including MRI, CT scan, ECG, X-ray.
Currently, 9 specialist doctors have been deputed in the hospital, whereas 60 doctors including specialists, professors, assistant professors were said to be deputed. Along with this, about 100 nursing staff were also said to be appointed. Along with this, a total of 91 machines are to be installed in the hospital, out of which 71 machines have been finalized. Out of 71 machines, only 25 have been installed. OPD service has started in the hospital on 3rd September.
Patients from Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka, Purnia, Katihar as well as Sahibganj, Mirzachowki and Godda of Jharkhand will benefit from this hospital. After the inauguration, the Union Health Minister, while targeting the opposition, said that this is the miracle of the fingers of the public. Due to which development is being seen continuously in the country. If the fingers of the public did not work properly, then incidents of robbery, murder and rape would have been seen again. The fingers of the public have a lot of power. Due to which today development is being seen continuously in the field of health as well as other areas.
A special package has been given to Bihar as well, due to which Bihar is continuously developing. He also said that the super specialty block has been inaugurated today, which will prove to be a milestone for this region.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that after getting the super specialty hospital, there is a constant demand for the development of Vikramshila and to start studies here again on the lines of Nalanda, which will now be fulfilled soon. There was a constant demand for an airport, for which the District Magistrate has sent a proposal of three sites. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will soon visit Bhagalpur and start it soon. They will inspect it. Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey also said after dedicating the super specialty hospital to the people of Bhagalpur that it will prove to be a boon for the people of Bhagalpur as well as the surrounding districts.
