New-Junior spark again in Bihar, fear of attack on Nitish again after meeting Tejashwi | News India

Bihar Nitish Kumar News Updates: There is tension in the BJP after the meeting between Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav in Patna, the capital of Bihar, three days ago. It is said that Nitish and Tejashwi have met regarding the appointment of the Information Commissioner in the state, but the BJP believes that Nitish is ready to turn back once again.

Due to the poor performance of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, Nitish fears that BJP will sink in the assembly elections to be held in November 2025. BJP sources say that after Nitish and Tejashwi met on the issue of caste-based census in 2022, Nitish left BJP and took the support of RJD. Nitish is now likely to repeat the same history.

JDU sources also believe that Nitish can change his stance anytime. JDU sources say that Nitish is angry that BJP has repeatedly insulted and disrespected JDU, while it has maintained its support for Nitish. Recently, BJP objected to the statement of JDU spokesperson K.C. Tyagi and forced Nitish to resign from the post of spokesperson. This is an indication that Nitish met Tejashwi Yadav after Tyagi's resignation. JDU sources say that Nitish is also angry with the Modi government's stand on the issue of caste-based census. The High Court has banned the Bihar government's caste-based survey and giving reservation due to it. This matter is in the Supreme Court and the stand of the Central Government in the Supreme Court is important. Nitish has repeatedly asked the Modi government to clarify its stand on this issue and settle the matter soon, but the Center is not very active in this regard. If reservation based on caste-based survey gets a green signal in Bihar, then this demand will intensify in other states as well. BJP feels that other parties including Congress and Samajwadi Party will benefit more from this.

JDU is a part of the Modi government but it does not have any major ministry. Although BJP does not have a full majority government, JDU has got one cabinet minister and one minister of state in the central government. JDU wants to appoint its people as governors and in various important boards of the central government, but BJP is not listening, so Nitish is ready to change his stance.
