In the latest list released by Fortune India, Kohli has become the highest tax paying cricketer in tax 2024. Kohli has paid a tax of Rs 66 crore in the financial year 2023-24. Among the Indian players, after Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Hardik Pandya are in the top-5 in this list. The name of Indian captain Rohit Sharma is not in this list.
After Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni has paid the highest tax of Rs 38 crore in the financial year 2023-24. Sachin Tendulkar has paid Rs 28 crore, Sourav Ganguly has paid Rs 23 crore and Hardik Pandya has paid Rs 13 crore. In this list, Rishabh Pant is at sixth place with a tax of Rs 10 crore.
