India is trying hard to end this war. India wants this fight to end through talks. For this, India has held talks with both Russia and Ukraine. Now Russian President Vladimir Putin has also accepted that India can stop the Ukraine war. However, Putin has given credit for this to India as well as his enemy China. Putin said that only India, China and Brazil can mediate between Russia and Ukraine. Putin said, “I am ready to negotiate a solution to the war with Ukraine.”
Putin said India, China and Brazil could play the role of mediators in a possible peace deal on Ukraine. Putin said that a preliminary agreement was reached between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators at talks in Istanbul in the first weeks of the war, which was never implemented. This agreement could become the basis for negotiations.
