This is how it works
This new service of IRCTC is based on AI. Indian Railways has equipped the AI virtual assistant AskDISHA with new features. As soon as you take the help of AskDISHA on the IRCTC website or app, it will give you the option to book or cancel tickets through voice commands. To book a ticket, after filling in the details like boarding and destination station, train number, date of travel, passenger name etc., choose the Conversational UPI payment option.
Payment for ticket booking will be done through default UPI ID on your voice command. To secure this system, Indian Railways has used CoRover's Voice Enabled India GPT Payment Gateway. To facilitate the communication process for passengers, payment gateway API has been used. Users will be able to access this chatbot on IRCTC website and app.
This new system of IRCTC is very easy and fast. Users will be able to avail the facility of ticket booking by using their voice only. This system may be further improved in the coming days.
