647th Prakash Utsav of Saint Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj celebrated

RS Pura, March 13 (His). The 647th Prakash Utsav and 15th annual Bhandara of Shiromani Saint Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was celebrated with pomp and devotion by Sri Guru Ravidas Sabha in village Badayal Kajiyan of RS Pura on Wednesday.

During the program organized at Guru Ravidas Temple Badiyal Qazian, a large number of devotees came and paid obeisance and received the blessings of Saint Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj. Former Chief Engineer Natha Ram was present as the chief guest during this program organized under the chairmanship of Shri Guru Ravidas Sabha President Mahendra Lal. Apart from this, Pathi Bodh Raj Banalia ji from Jammu enthralled the congregation through his sermons. Former Chief Engineer Natha Ram, who was mainly present on this occasion, congratulated everyone on the holy Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.

He congratulated all the officials of Sri Guru Ravidas Sabha for organizing a huge religious program in Badiyal Qazian. He stressed upon the people present in the society to give better education to their children. He said that if the children of his society go ahead after getting educated, then only the society and the country will progress. Apart from this, former BDC President Dilip Kumar, RS Pura Guru Ravidas Trust Head Shyam Kundal, former head Sudesh Kumar Gogi, former Sarpanch Captain Fateh Chand, former head Ajay Kumar, DD Shivgotra and others also expressed their views on this occasion. Describing Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj as a great saint, he said that he contributed a lot in eradicating the evils prevalent in the society and freed the society from misconceptions.

A huge Bhandara was also organized on this occasion. In which a large number of devotees took the Prasad. Apart from this, Havan Yagya was also organized in the temple in the morning. On this occasion, Guru Ravidas Sabha Chairman Rajinder Singh, Vice Chairman Rabel Singh, Vice President Ashwini Kumar, Treasurer Captain Tarsem Lal, Brita Ram, Janak Raj, Mahendra Lal, Rajkumar and other officials of the Sabha were also present.
