54 beneficiaries selected in Chief Minister Gram Parivahan Yojana | News India

Purnia, September 13 (HS). 54 beneficiaries have been selected in the second phase of Mukhyamantri Gram Parivahan Yojana in Purnia district. This decision was taken in the selection committee meeting chaired by District Officer Shri Kundan Kumar.

The selected beneficiaries include applicants from Baisi, Dhamdaha, Jalalgarh, Aamour, K. Nagar, Kasba, Banmankhi, Srinagar, Vaisa, Dagarua, Rupauli and B Kothi blocks.

The District Magistrate has directed the District Transport Officer to complete the process of purchasing vehicles from the selected beneficiaries. Under this scheme, each beneficiary will be given a grant amount of Rs 5 lakh as determined by the government. The District Magistrate said that this scheme will provide better transport facilities in rural areas and local people will get employment opportunities. The selected beneficiaries have been advised to fulfill the objective of the government by driving vehicles on the prescribed routes and build a better future for themselves.
