Janjgir. A workshop related to security arrangements in the upcoming assembly elections was organized by the police for the Kotwars of the district. About 470 Kotwars of the district were trained in the one-day workshop. The workshop was held in the newly constructed auditorium hall. Training was given regarding precautions to be taken during election duty, election process, model code of conduct etc. Necessary guidelines were given regarding making the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections 2023 peaceful and safe.
Akaltara police arrested 3 gambling accused
Akaltara police have arrested many gamblers. Rs. 11,900/- and 03 pieces of mobile phone and newspaper have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Section 3 Chhattisgarh against all the accused. Action was taken under the Public Gambling Prohibition Act 2022.
