376 villages included in Mirzapur-Vindhyachal Development Authority Master Plan

Mirzapur, 02 August (HS). Under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, Mirzapur-Vindhyachal Development Authority Master Plan-2031 has been approved. Now 376 nearby villages will be included in this master plan. Earlier, it was proposed to include 68 villages in the master plan.

Authority Secretary City Magistrate Lal Bahadur Singh said that the revised Mirzapur-Vindhyachal Development Authority Master Plan-2031 has been approved at the government level. Now 306 more villages have been added to it. This will speed up the development of basic facilities in the surrounding villages. The master plan includes areas up to Gaipura on Prayagraj road, Kotwan in Chunar and Deori of Vindhya University in Madihan. Villages up to Lalganj in the south and Kachhwa in the east will be included in the master plan. It includes villages from the banks of the Ganga to the city limits.

Along with residential and commercial buildings, schools, offices, parks and open spaces have also been marked in the master plan. Places have been earmarked for river banks, parks, playgrounds, stadiums, tourist spots, religious places and gardens. Apart from malls, parks, hospitals, schools, wide roads, there is a proposal to build industrial and green areas outside the city.
