Godda, 25 July (HS). On the occasion of the 28th foundation day of Adani Foundation, 300 shady trees were planted around the pond located in the premises of Dumaria Shiva temple. In the program, Dumaria Mukhiya and Adani Power Plant Station Head Ramesh Jha planted trees along with the villagers. The villagers planted Ashoka, Gulmohar, Belpatra etc. and took an oath to take care of the trees planted by them.
Understanding the importance of environmental protection, Adani Foundation has set a target of planting 50 thousand trees this year. Under this, the tree plantation program is going on in full swing in the villages Motiya, Patwa, Baksra, Petvi, Ranganiya, Thakurgangti and Mahagama around the Adani Power Plant. It is known that Adani Foundation has been running many welfare schemes related to education, health and public concern under CSR in Godda for the last 8 years.
Adani Foundation is running similar programs in other states of the country as well. Adani Group's CSR wing Adani Foundation has completed 28 years and on this occasion, foundation day celebrations are being organized on a nationwide level. In the program organized by Adani Foundation Godda, the villagers along with the officials of Adani Power participated enthusiastically and praised the works of Adani Foundation.
