Ashok Gehlot on Sachin Pilot: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has once again targeted former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot. Ashok Gehlot has criticized Sachin Pilot and termed him a traitor. He said, “A traitor cannot become the Chief Minister. The high command cannot make Sachin Pilot the chief minister. The person who does not have 10 MLAs, who rebels, betrays the party, has committed treason.”

Referring to the political crisis of 2020, Ashok Gehlot said that this would be the first time in the history of the country that a party president tried to topple his government. He said that money was given by the BJP for this. Rs 10 crore came from BJP’s Delhi office, I have proof. I do not know to whom this money was given.

In the conversation, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan alleged that Sachin Pilot had held a meeting with two senior BJP central ministers in Delhi. He said, “Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan were involved. They (including the pilot) had a meeting in Delhi.” CM Gehlot claimed that when the UPA government was formed in 2009, he (Pilot) had recommended to be made a Union minister.

A political crisis was born in 2020

During the political crisis in Rajasthan Congress in 2020, Sachin Pilot along with 19 MLAs went to a resort near Delhi. According to the discussion in the political corridors, the direct challenge to the Congress was either to make him the Chief Minister or else he should walk out from the Congress. However, this protest had no effect on the Gehlot government. Later, a settlement was reached from the side of the pilot. However, he was removed from the post of State Congress President. Along with this, he was also removed from the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

Pilot is on Bharat Jodo tour with Rahul Gandhi

Sachin Pilot is currently on Bharat Jodo Yatra with Rahul Gandhi. The yatra is currently passing through Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, BJP has termed Ashok Gehlot’s claim as baseless. Rajasthan BJP president Satish Punia said, “The Congress leadership has failed to set its house in order. Congress is losing Rajasthan, so Gehlot is disappointed. Gehlot is blaming the BJP for his failure.”
