Police-administration is on alert mode after the announcement of Mahapanchayat of Kali Sena in protest against stone pelting on Hanuman Jayanti procession in Dada Jalalpur village of Bhagwanpur in Haridwar district. District Magistrate Ravi Shankar Pandey said that no permission was taken by the organizers of Kali Sena Mahapanchayat for organizing the event. In such a situation, the program there was illegal and no event has taken place. Adequate police force has been deployed on the spot, action has been taken against those who could have become a threat to peace.
The District Magistrate said that no one has the right to take the law into his own hands. Neither any particular person or particular sect has the right to spoil the atmosphere. All people should live together in brotherhood, this is the religion of all of us and it is the duty of all of us, which should be ensured. Right and wrong are decided by the court, the administration has taken such action as it deems appropriate.
He said that on the previous day, the administration had issued an order to impose Section 144 within a radius of 5 km of Dada Jalalpur village. Any kind of event was prohibited. Giving more details on this matter, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat said that adequate police force has been deployed by the police to maintain peace and order in the area and some arrests have also been made in view of peace and order in the area. . He said that no person or organization can be allowed to disturb the peace and order in the area, strictest action will be taken against whoever commits such act.
Section 144 has been imposed by the police in Dada Jalalpur and its surrounding villages Hasanpur, Madanpur, Dada Patti, Khubbanpur, Latifpur, Behbalpur, Manak Majra, Akbarpur Kalso, Khedi Shikrapur, Sikronda, Halu Majra etc. Here five deputy SPs, 65 SIs, 150 constables, 30 women constables, 6 company PSCs have been deployed. Along with this, drones are being monitored in the entire area. With this, a total of 6 arrests have been made by the police so far. In this, Swami Anand Swaroop, Swami Dineshanand Bharti, Swami Parmanand, Swami Atmanand Bharti, Girish Chandra Mishra, Vinod Maharaj have been arrested.
