New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Chief Ministers through video conferencing today on the situation of Corona in the country. PM Modi has given information about this by tweeting. He tweeted that he will hold talks with the Chief Ministers of the state at 12 noon on Wednesday and review the situation in Corona. PM Modi’s meeting with the Chief Ministers is being held at a time when the country is witnessing an increase in the cases of corona for the last two weeks.

In the last 24 hours, 2,483 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday that there are 15,636 active cases of corona in the country. The positivity rate of Corona is 0.55%.

Advise people to wear masks and wash hands at regular intervals

It is worth noting that in Sunday’s Mann Ki Baat radio program, PM Modi appealed to the people to beware of corona infection during the festive season. He advised people to wear masks and wash hands at regular intervals to avoid COVID.

More than 86 percent of the adult population has been fully vaccinated

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya in a tweet on Tuesday said that more than 86 per cent of the adult population has now been fully vaccinated.

Now children of 5 to 12 years will also get corona vaccine

The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has authorized the emergency use of anti-coronavirus vaccine ‘Corbevax’ for children aged five to 12 years and ‘Kovavax’ for children aged six to 12 years. In addition, Jaycov-D has been approved for emergency use for adults and children over 12 years of age. DCGI has approved its use following the recommendations of the Subject Expert Committee of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) on Corona Epidemic (SEC).
