Pune, April 27 (H.S.). Rajasthan Royals bowler Kuldeep Sen said that his intention was to bowl well in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Kuldeep took four wickets against RCB as Rajasthan went on to top the points table after winning the match by 29 runs.
Kuldeep said that he got an idea of the nature of the pitch after watching RCB bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mohammad Siraj.
Kuldeep Sen said after the match, “I could not play in the last few matches due to injury. Looking at the first innings and the way Siraj and Harshal bowled, I realized that the ball was stopping from a good length, so Sanju told me to hit. The deck was tough, the plan was to keep it at a good length. We didn’t want to give easy runs.”
Kuldeep Sen’s four-wicket haul and Riyan Parag’s unbeaten 56 helped Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 29 runs at the MCA Stadium here on Tuesday. Apart from Kuldeep, Ravichandran Ashwin took three and famous Krishna took two wickets.
Chasing the target of 145 runs, RCB’s team was reduced to 115 runs in 19.3 overs. Parag also took four catches during RCB’s innings while fielding excellently.
