Jhansi, April 27 (H.S.). Pt. Pankaj Rawat, National President of Bharatiya Prajashakti Party, submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner and demanded that the expenditure on Smart City be investigated by a high-level committee.

It was told through the memorandum that the amount being sent by the Central and State Governments for the development of Jhansi in the name of Smart City was given to the District Magistrate addressed to the Chief Minister on April 20, demanding an inquiry by the High Level Committee. Was. In which it was demanded that the information about the work being spent on smart city should be given by putting up hoardings or plaques at the workplace, because the general public cannot ask for information by applying RTI. The National President told the Divisional Commissioner that the party’s office was sealed by the Jhansi Development Authority with the intention of taking the memorandum under pressure within 24 hours.

Rawat told that after sealing, around 8 pm, a paper dated 13th was pasted on the building in which it was told that hearing is on 16th. Then that leaflet was taken out, but at the same time, on the same place, it was written on the 16th, in which it was written that due to non-appearance in the hearing, the process of sealing was done.

Rawat said that there has been a gross violation of the law by the JDA. Rawat demanded through a memorandum that strict action should be taken against the officers and employees who made fun of the law. During this, Rajesh Tiwari, Jaikisan Goswami, Rajendra Mishra, Dharan Sharma etc. were present.
