After several days of meeting with the high command, election strategist Prashant Kishor refused to join the Congress. This was first disclosed by Congress leader Randeep Surjewala in a tweet and then by Prashant Kishor himself in a tweet.
Prashant Kishor says “I have decided to join the party and take responsibility for the elections as part of the Empowered Action Group (EAG). Rejected an open offer of Congress. “I think the party needs leadership and collective will to solve the deep-rooted structural problems through transformational reforms.
It is worth mentioning that due to frequent meetings with the high command, it was being speculated that Prashant Kishor would join the Congress.
Surjewala had earlier tweeted that the Congress President had formed the Empowered Action Group 2024 and had invited Prashant Kishor to join the group, but he refused. We appreciate his efforts and suggestions to the party.
It may be recalled that the Congress on Monday announced that a powerful group would be formed to deal with political challenges, days after election strategist Prashant Kishor considered the presentation on the party’s plan for the 2024 elections. Will come later
The decisions were taken at a meeting of senior party leaders to work out the Congress strategy for the next general and assembly elections, including the plan presented by Kishor. In the midst of defeat, the Congress is constantly struggling to make its strategy for the upcoming elections.
