New Delhi: Talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in his latest interview with Bollywood Bubble opens up about his early struggles in the Bollywood industry. He did a few cameos in films before making it big as a class apart actor.
“I needed money, I was not able to survive at that time. I was doing all this to survive. Like I played a waiter in Shool. Raveena Tandon and Manoj Bajpayee were sitting at the table and I had come to take their orders. That’s all. He said that Rs 2500 will be given to me which I have not received till date. There are many such, but I remember colic very well. It is part of the job”, recalled Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
“But I remember it because I went to office for 6-7 months for Rs 2500. I didn’t get that, but yes I used to get food. The trick I did later was that I used to reach his house at lunch time. Office. So seeing my condition, they used to ask, ‘ will eat food? So that’s how I ate food for one and a half months, so my money was given in the same way.
