Meerut, 26 April (H.S.). District Magistrate Deepak Meena said that those who disturb peace on Eid will be dealt with strictly. No one will be allowed to spoil the atmosphere.
In a meeting held at Bachat Bhawan on Tuesday regarding the preparations for Eid, District Magistrate Deepak Meena said that Kranti Dhara Meerut has always celebrated festivals by keeping all religions above all. All the ACMs should march on foot in their respective areas and establish better coordination with the people. ADM City and other officials should also inspect the Idgah. He asked the Additional Municipal Commissioner to get the roads repaired and patchwork done if required. He said that alertness and vigilance should be maintained. No one will be allowed to spoil the atmosphere. They will be identified and sent to jail.
The District Magistrate said that the officers should give information about the smallest incident to the higher officials, so that it can be resolved before the incident becomes big. At the time of Eid, smooth arrangements should be made for water supply, electricity supply. Issue a list of civil defense volunteers by issuing identity cards. Cleanliness should be done in all municipal bodies. Health department officials should arrange for an ambulance. Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhakar Chaudhary, SP City Vineet Bhatnagar, ADM City Diwakar Singh, ADM Finance and Revenue Pankaj Verma, Municipal Magistrate Amit Bhatt etc. were present on this occasion.
